Founded in 2022 by designer Xu Xingyuan, DEFICELER draws from the French for "to untie the cord”.

With an aesthetic deeply rooted in the dyeing, weaving, and embroidery traditions of ethnic minorities in Southwest China, the brand is built on Xu Xingyuan’s contemporary vision of dressing: retro should be no longer nostalgia, but an active pursuit and a continuous journey of self-renewal.
